Lovely car ! I have had two from 2010 to 2016. The lower air spring unit bushes are very short life, due to these four bushes taking the whole weight of the car. Not a good design, frankly, but the bushes are not expensive, its the labour to replace them. On my second car, a 2007 Sovereign, I didn't have to do much on the suspension, but I did have to replace the heater matrix. These are notorious for silting up. Replacement is not all that difficult, you don't have to take the whole dash out like some cars.
The transmission benefits from fluid and filer change at about 65k miles or thereabouts. Engine is all alloy, so never ignore a low coolant message

^^^Yep.
Now call me lazy, but that's 18 mag ribs to clean, and the other one was 20 I think, per wheel so that's 72 or 80 mag ribs to clean. I struggle with 10 ribs on the original mags.

I clean them individually, do you use a dedicated washing machine or something? which fits the whole car in?
Do they self-clean if you exceed 150mph? So many questions... :-)

I added upper and lower mesh grills in black since I want to sorta tone down the brightwork a bit. Euro front plate should be on its way soon.

Its a handful for sure. Helps having Akebono ceramic brake pads. They produce little to no dust. And I use Griotts Garage wheel cleaner spray. Usually that'll maintain it. But every once in a while it takes a pressure washing or taking the rims off to clean em well. An extended brush attachment on my drill will do the trick too. Key is I try not to drive it if it's raining or wet. Sounds crazy, but I'd rather take the motorcycle. Easier than detailing that beast.

Ceramic coating the wheels makes them a cinch to clean

Wax in general makes wheel cleaning easy, and provides protection for clear coats. I use whatever synthetic wax I happen to be on a kick with. Easiest by far is Meguiars Fast Finish; an aerosol spray you put on a microfiber, apply and lightly wipe down high spots. Fabulous slick finish; claims a year's protection (translation for wheels? a month or 2) The ONLY thing I clean wheels with? Car wash soap and water. Never understood using chemicals that will eat your skin to clean wheels. A properly maintained, cleaned regularly (as in daily if you drive it daily) wheel will come 100% sparkling clean with car wash soap. You just have to get down there and actually wipe it with a sponge, cloth or super soft brush. I think when one buys custom wheels you should get something you are willing to keep nice. If it feels like too much work, maybe a simpler design is a better fit for someone. But that's just me. I can't speak for others, and shouldn't try. I certainly don't expect people to understand my motivations such as washing my car daily unless its pouring rain I also wax ONE panel a day, with intense effort. One. And I work my way around the car like a perpetual bridge paint crew, starting over when the cycle completes. Yeah yeah.. I know. There are worse obsessions.

Black when clean,& polished is a sight to behold.
But one black car to wash & polish the chrome on was enough for me.
White always looks good

I have to say, I have never seen the 19" Rapier Wheels Chromed.
Rapier:

They look nice. Unlike the "Custom" wheel that came on my 07 VDP - I still have one as a spare - Its pretty gaudy to my eye:
Custom, Chromed:

that's the actual name of it. Try telling someone you have Custom Chromed wheels on your Jag, and they say "I like OEM wheels" Then YOU say these ARE OEM. Then THEY say "I thought you said they were custom" - and so on, ala' "Who's on First" But I like a "Turbine, Multi-spoke" even if maintenance can be a challenge.

Brewtech are the windows tinted? Or is it just how the photos came out. It looks nice. I've been wanting to do my windows but have been hesitant. Seeing your photos makes me want to go get it done tomorrow.

Yes they are tinted. First thing I had to do since I have a child and prefer to have him sitting in privacy back there. Dont want anyone even looking at him when Im sitting in traffic. Your car looks stunning!

I can completely understand. It is a crazy world we live in today. Did they have to remove the door panels to do the tint? I want to get them done and seeing it on your car convinced me but I really don't want anyone messing with panels or the electronics in the doors. And thanks about my car. I think the radiance red is very sharp. It is funny that I had a silver XJ that I thought was sharp and that I would get some comments in, but every time I stop for gas or at the store in this car someone always walks up and wants to know about it. Guess I better go easy as it probably will attract the officers as well :-)

No removal of panels required. The pros do it right with no unnecessary tampering. It changes the look for sure!

Brewtech's look great. I had very tinted windows on my car when I bought it. When you live on the edge of a Desert, tinted windows are a very good idea!

However, PITA to see behind in the door mirrors at night! Had it removed! The way people lane-swap (often 7 lanes) here and zoom up to overtake on the inside, you want good rearward viz!!

Curiously, there was already a tint under the darker tint, which obviously I still have?

So Brewtech's shade, no darker would be my suggestion?

I definitely wouldn't be going too dark as they will pull you over in CT if you get too crazy but I want to give it a little different look as well as give the interior a little protection. I have my 300C tinted and have wanted to do the Jag but was hesitant until I saw Brewtech's pictures.
