2006 xj8 4.2

Going to do an oil change but before I do so, how many quarts does the XJ8 take? I'm getting all sorts of different answers but would like to know the exact amount. Also will be changing the oil filter as well. Thanks!

6.5 quarts. (6 liters)

That's with a new filter.

Mine's a 2005 4.2

Same thing.
