I have recently purchased a 2006 XJ8. It has the AVM module in the glove compartment with the iPod connector is in the center console. It also has a Sirius radio installed by the dealer. When I connect the iPod or a USB stick and I get no connection shown by the radio. I have the CDC button but no CD Changer in the car.

My question is.. When they installed the Sirius Radio did they disconnect the AVM? And if so, can I disconnect the Sirius and reconnect the AVM?

Update

I have found by selecting the the AVM as the CDC from the steering wheel works, but does not work from the CDC button on the dash. Strange. but at least it works!
