2009 XJ Portfolio Options
Hi All,
Just a general question, I have been reading up lately of the 2006 and 2009 Jaguar XJ Portfolios and in most of the press comments these models are refered to as full options, top of the line models.
I have recently acquired a 2009 XJ Portfolio and it does not have Adaptive Cruise Control, which I found a little strange. At first I thought it might have been a local restriction at the time but this does not seem to be.
Does anyone know if there was an options list for the Portfolio and if so what was it. I have checked most options and so far this seems to be the only thing excluded.
Thanks

Hi Scotty,
For the 2009 Super V8 Portfolio there was not an options list because these models came with everything.
Your 2009 Portfolio actually does have Adaptive Cruise Control -- it is a standard option. I am looking at the original window sticker that came with my car and it reads:
STANDARD EQUIPMENT
ENGINEERING & PERFORMANCE
400 HP 4.2 L V8 ENGINE
6-SPD AUTO TRANSMISSION
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
AIR SUSPENSION WITH CATS
LONG WHEELBASE ALLOY BODY
SPEED SENSITIVE STEERING
SUPERCHARGED, INTERCOOLED

Michael,
Thanks for the feedback, I was reading the manual on Thursday in the car and the buttons on the side of the cruse control (Steering wheel) are not there, and the central button on the left side console (cant remember its function) is just a blank plate.
These appear to be the main buttons for the ADC.... cruise control is fine and works perfect... just no Adaptive.....very strange
edit: With the helpful link to the manuals, the other button missing is the Adaptive Cruise Control forward alert switch, this is just a blank plate.

Yeah, United Arab Enirates, that is what I first thought, but the 2005 super V8 and other models I looked at had it it.....
Will ask the dealer when I need to go for a service.
Was hoping you would say its rubbish...lol....
