Default Adaptive cruise control

Good morning all,
First post, soon to be an XJ Owner...
I have a strange question... I have searched the forum but can't find an answer. I am looking to buy a later 2007 / 2009 XJ Sovereign 2.7 diesel, but I want "Adaptive Cruise Control" Can anybody tell me how I can tell by looking if a particular car has it fitted? Please.

Adaptive cruise control has a button on the steering wheel (use finger tips, 'behind' the wheel) to adjust the distance from the vehicle that it's following. It's on the right hand side of the steering wheel; there is an equivalent on the left hand side which changes the band of the radio. I guess if you only find it's got the one for the radio then it doesn't have ACC.

That's great thank you, so there in no obvious visual clue?

Other than the 'double button' slightly behind the ordinary cruise control buttons (as I say, a mirror image of the band change button on the audio controls on the LH side of the steering wheel), nope, nothing else visible.

The radar unit is hidden inside the front bumper cover and not visible.
