Hello all, I have an 08 Vanden plas with the rear entertainment system, DVD navigation and phone adapter. I have been looking at adding a cd changer just because i can. from the drawings it looks like i need a d2b cable to connect between the Head and the amp? (located in the trunk ) plus the power cable. Before i take it apart, do you know if the bay is pre wired? or am i opening a can of worms??
My speakers say Alpine on them. The changer i have procured is part number: 1X43-18C830-AB. I bought this before reading about how to do it, so i may have a spare here that someone could use lol.

If i am right and i need the D2B cable, does anyone know the part number?

Thanks in advance

Rick

I'm perplexed to the extent that there is already a CD-changer in the trunk. Plus the slot up front makes 7.

And there aren't more than 7 Pink Floyd albums, or not decent ones.

No Cd changer in mine
Hi There, im glad you share the love of Pink Floyd lol. My car does not have a changer in the trunk as standard. what it does have is the navigation dvd player , a rear entertainment dvd player , a BT telephone and a space for a cd changer. !!!!
