Had Jag dealer cut tibbe aftermarket key, only charged about $5.00. By VIN number. Got home, only locks car, nothing else. I took a look, techie miscut key, both "sides" not identical. Key is designed to go in either side. I return, ask for same techie, he examines, disappears, moments later key is done. This time, I test in parking lot, lock unlock only as expected. Note: if trouble with aftermarket immobilizer in key, s/b possible to swap w OEM Jag capsule. Incidentally, dealer charge oil svce. Around $243, no other discounts available. Dealer did discount air susp. relay somewhat, so I ordered. Have appointment for key programming, fingers crossed, about $155.

 

Little known fact: any Jag X350 key will lock any Jag X350 ; it doesn't have to be cut to match the car.
