I have a 2007 X350 2.7d - Had the air con re-gassed a week or so ago as an attempt at an obvious fix for the air con not getting cold.
Still not blowing cold however!


I know there could be other issues - condenser failed / pump issue etc. but does anyone know of any other 'quick fixes' that are worth trying before sending it back into dock to be sorted??

Is the cold pipe from the air con pump getting cold enough to form condensation and does it feel very cold to the touch?

 

You may have a leak so you could check the pressure but you would need to take

it back to have that done. Was it cold when you picked the the car up?

I have been through this with my son's Passat and I would recommend you take it

to an Air Con specialist.
