Default Air suspension

Does anyone else have leaking air struts only when it's cold (<0ºC)?

Yes, you can find a lot of refference to that in this forum. There is a thread, where one member actually sectioned the shock he took out of his car.
My 2004 VDP will keep height when parked for weeks. I never saw message "VEHICLE TOO LOW" coming from weeks of travel when weather is above 40F. When temperature drops close to 32F car can sag down overnight. If I start car when it is low, I just waight few minutes for compressor to start fill up tank and fill shocks after that. It is cool to watch car rise up! This does not happen instanteneously!
It is indicative of impeeding failure; get your funds ready to repalce airstruts.
In my case this is evident on front suspension. From what I read here it is typical. I do not drive Jaguar... much... in winter.
The cold weather height drop, my car has been doing this for three years I own it. When time comes will want to keep air suspension so I started a car fund a year ago.

Not sure what the reference to CATS is about, because CATS has nothing to do with air suspension. Sure, it's part of the strut, but CATS is simply a binary valving setting, soft or firm, that happens automatically according to driving conditions.

As for fixing the sagging-when-cold issue, it will eventually get to where it's not just when cold. Maybe replacing the struts fixes it, but the cars are of an age where there are so many other places that can ruin the air system, either by component failure, rust, or simple wear. Serious consideration should be given to abandoning air and going with coilovers, simply because keeping the air working can be more expensive than the car will ever be worth any more. I have Arnott coilovers and have never looked back. It's still an incredibly good-riding car, and I don't have to wait for the car to rise when I start it up. Coilovers are cheaper than air struts, are simple to install, and they last pretty much forever.

Listen to wfooshee! I fought with the air suspension for weeks and spent much money before I came to the same conclusion. I would fix one thing say the air compressor re-ring kit. Then the desiccant bead drying out. Then a strut replacement and then all the insane SDD programming involved to set the ride heights. Then the nightmare of the "implausibility" error codes!

The spring swap was and is a great solution.
There is a reason that kit is made and why so many cars have been converted.
