Air suspension ,car too low, Fixed, but don't know how
New 350 XJ6 owner. car with no faults except an upper oxy sensor, jacked car to get to sensor, then figured while I'm under may as well do oil and filter and check diff oil so has all 4 wheels off the ground. replaced sensor, oil and filter etc lowered car back onto wheels.
car sitting real low. started and ran it, nothing still too low with warning light no compressor kicking in.
did this several times, no change.
Read throught all the scary posts on suspension low problems. looked at it fror a couple of days, magic did not happen -still low.
I figured if it whent flat because it was all wheels up, I'd start with the front.
Jacked it till front wheels nearly off ground,
started it,
compressor kicked in straight away and pumped.
Still up the day after.
getting it elevated got the pump working, It would not kick in while the car was flat.

If you lift x350 on one end it should be fine dropping it and go ahead driving.
next time before you lift cat completely. unhook battery ... that saves the position height it was in .
after dropping her back down connect the battery again.
if it says on the dash " vehicle too low let it run in Patk for about a minute or two then drive off carefully as soon as you reach 25mph airsuspension compressor (front left bumper able to reach it behind wheel well liner even to take it out) will start again. Delivering up to 14 bar through 4mm nylon hose to the boot underneath sparewheel trrough the valveblock to either tank or to the airsuspension struts ..
2× 6mm color coded nylon hose to front struts 2x 4mm color coded to rear struts .

Thanks.I read through all the threads that said drive it (quietly) flat. I did not like that idea at all.
Figure lifting it to about ride height on a jack might activate pump. it did.

I didn't realise I'd upset the JuJu that controls the beast until I'd lowered it back on the ground.
I've never previously owned a car that had a hissy fit if it was jacked up..
