Airbags inflate to the max
my front airbags have started inflating - up as high as they can go. And they stay up - making for a very rough ride. Whats wrong? Bad ride height sensor? Stuck exhaust valve?

One of the first things you need is to get the fault codes read to see if there are any relevant to the suspension.
Depending on the age of your car there may be two (if an early model ), or only one height sensor on the front. (EDIT: the R/H front height sensor was deleted at G26872 and onwards) Problems with the front sensor(s) are certainly not unknown and a visual inspection to see that it's correctly connected to the suspension arm would be another obvious thing to do.
It would be worth you reading through the 'sticky' thread, at the very top of the threads list, which is all about the air suspension system.
