I've always wanted to have a dark colored rims on my car. So might as well give this a try. Before this car I also still currently have a 2003 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor too that hands down to the wife now.

Looking pretty good so far. If you are not interested in the completely flat black look, plasti-dip also makes a "glossifier" to add a layer of gloss to the black plastidip. I think this would help give the black color much more depth. They aslo carry "metallizers" which add cool metallic flakes to a layer of black plastidip. I believe the site is dipyourcar.com. Cheers and good luck with your project.

I wanted to buy the glossifier clear when I bought the plastidip but at the Lowes I pick up they only have 2 cans left and I got 2 cans of clear plastidip and thought that's the glossifier. Found out later the shinier clear coat is call Glossifier so I need to order it online. I am going to order the clear smoke color too for blacking out the taillight and bumper chrome strip too go make it look more uniform and less busy.
