Default Bluetooth Audio Help! (Newby)

Cheers everyone!

I've been reading through the internets in hopes of finding a clear, fool-proof sort of list on how I get from not having Bluetooth audio to having it.

We've got an X350 XJR, 2007, with factory Bluetooth phone, navigation, CD changer.

From what I've read so far, Veffremov makes a kit that essentially replaces the CD changer. I've emailed him but have not heard back yet (I'd take two off his hands).

I'm also not entirely clear whether I have MOST or D2B, though my tech said it's most likely D2B, I'd love to actually verify that.

It's a much needed upgrade -- have you listened to the radio lately?

Where do I start?

Thank you very much for your help

The X350 uses D2B.

Yes you want the Veffremov kit or the ACM set up but the ACM is iPod connectivity, not bluetooth. I think folks that have the Veff kit love it.

I appreciate the quick response

I've just messaged Veff about the kit. Looks as if it's the best way to go.

I've read that there are ways to get BT capabilities with the ACM but accomplishing that seems to be beyond my very limited skill.

I was an early adopter of the Veff box while it was still half baked. It is solid now and the best thing that ever happened to my X350. I also have an ACM kit which I never installed - totally obsolete now.

You need a Veff box.

The sound is steller. You will never listen to FM again! It will also blow away an ACM.
