Default CD/Cassette Tape player compatibilty when replacing with a used Touchscreen?

Dear Forum,
I have the full touch screen but with the Cassette Tape player, not the CD Player. If I replace it with a used screen with the CD Player, will it be compatible with plug and play, please?

Hi Esray,
as they are separate units, I would say so.
Jaguar offered the different radio units (cassette or CD or Minidisc) at the same time, and I cannot believe that they did not make them compatible to each other, as that would ave meant increased complexity during the building process of the car in the factora.
Also, there is the (older) thread from Cambo in the forum about retrofitting (Jaguar) DAB, where you also need to replace the unit with the one that has the "Band" btton instead of the "FM/AM" one, and he did not say anything about it not being a plug and play swap.
Best regards,
Thomas

As mentioned above , the cassette player or cd player is seperate, if you search on ebay sometimes you can find the units for sale
