My CD changer magazine would not eject. Any hints how to extract it?

 

Got that fixed. You have to remove the cd changer, open it. Remove the unit from the suspending springs and rubber.

You have to be careful about the control cable. Mine was glued to the metal cover and I had todisconnectit from the PCB socket.

To unjam the magasine: there is a big (1') plastic gear on the center of the back of the unit. Rotate it gently and it will release the springs holding the magazine. After the magazine is removet, the gear wil automatically return the reader mechanism to its original position.
