Default Ceramic brake pad change over

Since time began I have been philosophically opposed to ceramics. Today I completed the change over from stock composition pads to ceramics. The brake dust and resultant ugly wheels finally became more than one could bare.

Actually the rears were done back in Feb. of this year with excellent results. I finally got around to the fronts this am. The job took 3 hours but most of that time was in detailing the calipers and wheels. Painted calipers look so cool. I used Wearever GNAD 1241 from Advance Auto.

Ceramics are on my short list. I'm getting really tired of cleaning brake dust. I'll probably paint the calipers as well.......wonder what color would look best on a white onyx car?!?

I just realised I posted this thread in the wrong section. The car in question is an XK and the part numbers likewise apply to XKs.

Admin, can you move it for me?
