I recently acquired a 2006 XJ8 that is a few serial numbers higher than G49700. I believe there were some brake part changes at that time, but is there anything else? Was this a mid-year change or at the start of the 2006 build? Any info/details appreciated. Thanks !

 

I believe that VVT was introduced along with electronics changes.

Others with more knowledge hopefully will chime in.
