Default changing gearknob xj8 350b

Hi Jaguars.

Recently i bought a xj8 350 2003. i am very happy with it.

I want to change the gearknob but i dont know how.

teher a tiny spot with seemes to be a screw but nothing fits. hex, philips or flat, tried everything.

anyone have an idea how to solve this?

The knob just unscrews, counterclockwise looking at top i.e. standard RH thread.
The chrome bit is adjustment, but I put a washer under the new knob to adjust it and not mess with the chrome bit, that way I can put the old knob back with no issues.

That set screw looks like it has been hit with a drill bit but not extracted with a screw removal bit.

That is not a screw. The conical metal part is just screwed on like knob itself.
