I understand this code to be lean cylinder one however I cannot find out why? Has anybody run into this I cannot find any vacuum leaks the engine runs very smooth I don't think it's an injector but don't have a way to test it

P2096 indicates bank 1 is too lean as detected by the post-cat Heated O2 sensor. Bank 1, not cylinder 1. You'll have to do some diagnostic work to determine if the upstream AFR sensor is reporting correctly, of if the issue is only with the H02 sensor. Could be caused by an exhaust leak in the cat (after the AFR sensor) or a bad H02 sensor.
