Cooling Problem
2006 XJR. I had to replace a coolant hose from the EGR valve to the throttle body and decided to flush the cooling system. After draining and refilling with distilled water I went for a ride. I got no heat and the engine overheated. Brought it back drained and refilled, bled and went out again with same results.
I've been bleeding the system and now have some heat but the engine temp still shoots all the way up. I'm wondering if I attached the new hose to the wrong side of the the throttle body (I know). I connected the hose to the lower of the 2 connectors on the TB while the upper connector is attached to the hose that crosses behind the TB and, I think, goes under the Supercharger. Please see pic. Not the greatest pic but the hose I replaced, EGR to TB, is under the hose shown. Want to make sure I didn't cross up the hoses. Thanks for the sanity check

Solved - hose was ok. Kept adding coolant with ignition on while cold. To be sure raised front so expansion tank fill higher than SC bleeder. Ran engine with exp tank cap off. All is well.
