Came out of local establishment after about half an hour. Key fob would not unlock car, after many attempts got a ride home changed battery in fob also took spare fob with me and car would still not unlock! Called roadside assistance but while waiting for about an hour tried again and the car unlocked! Any ideas?

 

Did you try the key in the door?

 

Yes but key would not turn.( Never been used and Canadian winters). Freed that up tonight, but still does not explain why remote would not work. I have checked manual to see if there is some sort of disablement if car is tampered with but can find nothing.

 

These Jags can suffer some anomalous symptoms lets hope it was a one off.
