Default A couple of newbe questions

This is my first post since my new member intro.

Monday I plan on having an Arnott spring suspension conversion installed. I have a few questions regarding what to expect:
  • Obviously the self-leveling ability is gone.
  • What about CATS? Are there any active suspension abilities remaining?
  • Does the sport mode still have any effect (other than altered transmission shift points?

Monday I will report my observations after the first test drive.

Other than the "ASF" message, my 10 year old Jag is just about flawless. Loving her so far!

The CATS system will have gone, the Arnott shocks do not have Hard/Soft variations invoked by CATS.

Sport mode on the gearbox continues in operation as it has no input/output to the suspension.

Are you sure about getting rid of the air suspension? That is one of the unique thing about the XJ that makes it so special. The CATS ride is amazing!

I agree my XJR feels like a cloud when cruising the highway then a sports car on the curves. Check out the remanufactured arnott air springs they maintain the CATS functionality.
