Does anybody know which brand and model diagnostic tool would read out and reset error codes from a 2006 Daimler Super Eight 4,2 ?? General tools would recognize Jaguar X350 but not Daimler - at least this is my experience.

Your Daimler Super Eight is a Jaguar Super V8 with Daimler badges and trim. I use an iCarsoft LR V2 for my Super V8, and it works fine. I am sure it would work for you too. What is your VIN? If it starts with SAJ it's a Jaguar.

I would suggest exactly the same as mentioned above, in technical terms the Daimler is identical under the skin to a Jaguar so the diagnostic equipment should work fine by clicking on " Jaguar", the unit should then just read the vin number itself, if not you can just enter the vin manually.,
