DSC Fault, continuing CEL light, etc...
Hi all,
My 2004 XJR is up to 82,000 miles and has been running pretty well, but I had a DSC fault light on the other day, and took it in to my local shop. There was a faulty break booster hose, and after taking off the intake manifold, recommended I replace the following, although none are critical at the moment:
2 Outlet pipes to cooler pipe, hose
Throttle body to elbow gasket
Outlet pipe gasket
PCV Valve
Intake to valve cover hose
Evap (?) Hose
I just can't afford to replace those parts right now in addition to everything else that is crucial at the moment. Anyone else have these similar issues? How long before these usually need to be replaced? Thanks all!
