Hi All,

I've got an 2006 XJ-L that I bought from Florida and trying to get it registered in TX. However the dealer I bought the car from told me that they replaced the battery.

I've got the car to inspection last week -which is a pre-requisite to have it registered in TX but it failed due to "incomplete tests". Since last week I've been trying to complete it but cannot get Evaporation and Secondary Air tests completed. In 5 days, I won't be able to drive the car anymore if I cannot get the inspection/registration done.

I desperately need help/guidance.

I've already ordered the Mangoose the knock off version of Mongoose but that will take probably another month to arrive here.

By the way, I don't see an p1000 or P1111s when I do the scan with my torque/bt reader pair sometimes it says "your delaer/manufacturer does not allow reading p codes" sometimes it does not even say that and does not return and DTCs. The CEL/MIL is also NOT on?
