Default Exhaust Tip Material

Are the exhaust tips on the x350's (super v8, not Portfolio) chrome or stainless like on the xj-40's? Need to know what/how to polish. The tips on my old XJ-40 were stainless steel as most of the trim. I know that the days of S/S trim on Jaguars are long gone, too bad.

Well, they're stainless steel on my car, and I suspect they are on yours too. I use a polish called Autosol here in the UK. It's a white paste and brings the trims up lovely.

They must be the only thing left on the car made of stainless.

Exhaust system is all stainless, but not a high grade like the trims, so it goes get corroded on the surface.

I have installed an Adamesh mesh front grill that is stainless.
