Default Expansion tank hose leak

2005 XJ8L

Please help me to diagnose my problem(attached pictures below), I have coolant leak and find the source finally.
it leak from the hose on the side of coolant expansion tank, why the end of the hose end expansion so big when the coolant start leaking? Does it got clog or something? Can I just change the hose or the tank too? Should I disconnect the hose from the tank to check and clear the clogg but keep the same hose? I just find out the expansion tank is aftermarket changed by previous owner.

The end of the look like want to explode

Looks like a blockage or partial blockage and you need to investigate if there is

a constriction further along the hose in the engine.

There are plastic parts in that area which can disintegrate and cause blockagages.

Replace the hose shown.

NB I would avoid driving the Jag until the problem is solved because if you

lose a large amount of coolant while driving and don't stop immediately

you can ruin your engine.

The tank may be after market but it's made by MEYLE which is a good make

Thanks for the advise, I’m not driving it but I have to drive to the shop which is 6 Miles, I will have a jag distilled water and coolant in the trunk for back up. Is the coolant going in to the tank or drain from the trunk through that tube. Should I order the hose and do it myself? What size is the clamp clip?
Thanks in advance.....

Get rid of those worm gear clamps, they are junk, high pressure fuel clamps hold better, but the spring ones are better yet. The spring clamps, keep constant, even pressure, on the many plastic coolant joints. Not too tight, or loose, but steady even pressure is what is needed, or they can collapse, causing all kinds of problems. There is a tool, that looks much like a pair of pliers, but with a reverse action, made to remove hoses from such joints. Had it for years, not expensive, & works great, Harbor has them as well, as other places. Amazed at just how many people have never seen them when they are pulled out and used, on their bikes & cars. Almost always then asked, where did you find those, & how much did they cost?

I was going to change the hole myself but the hole was cause by whoever change it previously.
I find a hole on the bottom of the hose, there no clogg in the nipple or hose, I use the silicone tape to seal the hole for now, I breed the system and drive for 20 mins no leak, I’m going to bring to my mechanic to replace the hose.
