Hi Folks,
Can anyone help me out. I just got a Alternator and Water pump. I collected the car tonight at 17:00. I took it for a run home and when I pushed the accelerator to overtake the "Performance Restricted" label came up on the dash read-out. I had a loss of power and limped home.
I put my OBD on to the car and it came up with fault code P0299 "Turbo / Super Charger Underboost" this happened 3 times each time I deleted the fault code.
Could this fault have been caused during my repair as I didn't have this fault before it went into the garage.

Hi Bruce,
Take the car back to the garage that did the work. State that the car did not have this fault until they had done the work and get them to check it out. It might be a coincidence but most likely they have not reassembled something correctly. You should not be getting this fault.
Thanks,
Chris

JX350,
Took the car back to the garage this morning and within 25mins it was fixed. There was a loose air conductor hose which he tightened up. Took it for a road test and all perfect.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Bruce,
Great news. It was too much of a coincidence for that fault to arise straight after you had the alternator replaced. Glad you are back up and running again.
Thanks,
Chris
