Own a Foxwell scanner? Thinking about buying one?
Join me in lobbying Foxwell to make it actually useful for Jag owners
Foxwell makes a number of diagnostic scanners. The NT 510 is a recent handheld version which is advertised as being able to perform "adaptions" (ie, setting parameters such as suspension height). And, it does just that, if you happen to own a Ford, Chevy, VW or some other common vehicle
Problem is, at Foxwell, the Jag software is a redheaded stepchild. Many of the scanner functions are not enabled. I have emailed Foxwell about this, and they do promise an NT510 Jag update. Someday.
So, if you're like minded, please email "support@foxwelltech.com" and request that "adaptions capability" be "enabled in the Foxwell NT510 scanner"
BTW, the Foxwell NT510 is available (via Amazon) for less than $200, and is highly rated. It can be used with many makes (as well as Jag/LR). I purchased it as I couldn't face the prospect of getting a Chinese clone SSD/IDS system running on an obsolete laptop (which, last year, was a sub hobby unto itself on this forum)
