Sign me up too! I think my 2005 XJ8 VDP has had it replaced once but I have another problem now

 

Probably not a question for this thread, but how do you know that your compressor has a problem? Is there a warning? I bought my '04 XJ used about 9 months ago and it has always had a "rough" ride. Not smooth like I would have expected.

Light been coming on just hit 101010 miles today coming to work owned the car since new - LOVE it a lot - wont sell it for the world now getting to maint needs but been ready and waiting. 2005 (later year) xj8l with everything but navigation - didn't order it with it don't like the big screen in the dash - my 2nd xj - had a 1999 prior to this -

My black 2005 Jaguar 4.2L XJ8 Vanden Plas suspension/compressor works well in the Scottsdale Arizona heat (summertime highs of +/- 115 degrees Fahrenheit), but frequently fails in the cooler-winter months (low temps of +/- 35 degrees Fahrenheit or lower)
