I wanting to something different on my car. I have a 02' Xtype currently. I was wondering would the front bumper of an 08-2010 XJ8 fit on my car? Would it be to heavy? I know I can make any bumper fit with modifications but I want to get some input and measurements on the fit before investing?

Tsimms,,,,,,,,,, you know those cars are nowhere near the same size rite? Just by looking @it, you should see that; but if you want specifics, a 2008 x-type is 70inches wide, whereas a 2008 xj is 73 inches wide...

 

I would do a little bit of photoshop cut and pasting to see if it looks alright first. Then worry about the specifics if you feel it looks good enough to warrant the hassle you will have to deal with on these monsters.

 

The late model x types came with a facelift bumper that resembles the XJ. That might be your best bet.
