GenV Eaton blower rear bearing help
I've got a newer supercharger pulled out of a junkyard 4.2 STR I've been meaning to service for a while and drop in my x308. Some recent noises from my x308 have reminded me to look into this...
There's a tiny bit of play in the rotors, and I figured I may as well stick new rear needle bearings in there while I can put it on a bench if it's not crazy difficult. The 4.2 blowers have a different style of needle bearings than the older ones, and while I can find the newer bearings online, I can't seem to find guides on R & I. I did some searching on the forums and couldn't find much, or any pictures. There was some mention of pushing the bearings out with grease that didn't really make much sense when I looked at the bearings on mine. Does anyone know any good guides, or have any wisdom, for replacing said bearings?
