Hello everyone, greetings from South Florida (again). A couple of years ago I posted here when I got my old 2008 XJ8, a car I enjoyed very much. I sold it and recently I was looking for another X358 since I wanted a nice sedan that got better MPG than my S600.
I decided to look for an XJ8 in a Facebook X350/X358 group I am in. My heart has always wanted an 08-09 XJR but I did not even try to find one since they are impossible to find and when they show up they aren't cheap, I got lucky, a member messaged me and told me he would sell me his 08 XJR for a very reasonable price, I could not believe my luck. So, I bought it.
I flew to Rhode Island and drove it down to Florida, I made a trip out of it, visited several cities, and had so much fun, the car was perfect. I have been driving it quite a bit for the last few weeks and I am just so glad I pulled the trigger.
I plan to do some small mods, not much since I think the car is pretty perfect as is, but most importantly I plan to enjoy it.
