What is an oil filter adaptor?

 

"Oil filter housing" is the correct name for the part I plan to replace the seals. I will work on it some more, but I still have not been able to find the subject in the manual. Additionally, the pictures are "X'd Out" of the document on my machine.

 

My bad: pdf shows pictures just fine. When I convert to another format (Google Docs) pictures don't show. Solution: use pdf! Now, I suspect, I will be able to search... Sorry for the confusion.

 

Thanks for the great information. My car is out of the VIN Range. This manual says for vin range G00442 to G99999, my car is in the H range

I suppose they're all pretty much the same?
