Hard ride
Hi all
Im new to this forum so apologise in advance if I have broken an etiquette.
I have 2005 xj8 sport. Quite recently I have noticed that the ride on the car has become hard. The ride height is all correct and I have no warning messages on the dashboard.
The car was parked up for a while when I got it back on the road I changed the battery and had the three ground points done as 2 had coroded off. Also in the last 2 years it has had a new compresser fitted.
what be causing the hard ride ?

The DSC controls the struts at each corner of the vehicle using a 5volt PWM
signal to a solenoid at the top of each strut and this system can default to 'hard'.
I suggest that you scan for codes and delete any that you find.
This problem is not unknown.
