Default Heated seat issue

Its getting to be that time of year again where it's starting to cool off. My front heated seats are not working. I have checked fuses and they are good. The lights on the switches do light up when pressed. I've tried all 3 settings checking to see if it was just certain settings and that's not it. The steering wheel does heat up when the drivers button is on. The rear heated seats do work. Anyone have any other ideas?

I have a similar issue with my 2008 VDP. In fact, it's only the driver seat that is not heating properly - the passenger seat and the rear ones are fine.

I don't know whether your car has the heating/cooling unit with the fan - if so, you can definitely hear the fan spinning up when you activate either. Still, for me it doesn't heat/cool properly.
I suspect the air filter in the unit to be clogged, but disassembling the seat is a real PITA.

YMMV.

I don't have cooled seats, just heated. I assume because yours is a couple years newer than mine.
