Default heated wiper park area..

So guys, I am in the process of having my windshield replaced, and the company is saying Jaguar has discontinued production of windscreens with the heated wiper park area, only selling the enturely heated windshield that wont match up with the existing wiring.. and that none of his distributers have any either so I would lose this feature if I replace the windshield. Is this for real? lol I have never heard of something so ridiculous how can a company STOP making a windshield that has a pretty fantastic feature for anyone who experiences a winter climate? It was actually, lame as it sounds, one of my favorite features... Any ideas as to where I might find a windscreen with that feature, or is the shop just misinformed? any help would be appreciated.

Well Jaguar never made the windscreen glass, it would have been a windscreen supplier, and as there are a few of these around, it may be that the firm you have spoken to are not aware of the right supplier, now the windscreens are no longer in the Jaguar production system.

I find this tale hard to believe, and suggest you ask around, and also ask your local Jaguar agent. Of course the correct screen will likely cost more money so this will be at the heart of it, probably
