2001 XK8 Convertible, Phoenix Red, for sale in Colorado.

We have owned the car for 2 years, single owner before that (more on this later). We had a lot of fun with it, drove about 10,000 miles mostly in the West on 7 or 8 separate long trips.
We just can't afford this car, as much as we would like it. As a non- DOYer, we have already spent too much $ maintenance and upgrades and we got a top hydraulics leak now. I will have that fixed next week and then the car will be ready to be sold.

The previous owner was a 60 year old lady who for 12 years never parked the car outside or drove it in the rain. It's in really good condition shiny paint, great interior, smooth engine and tranny, ice cold A/C.
You can eat from the engine. Brakes are good,

Here is the history:
All common engine internal upgrades (cam chain tensioners, water pump) have been done.
Transmission: fluid changed and serviced 1.5 years / 8,000 miles ago
New Tires: 6000 miles ago.
ABS sensors: R/R / cleaned and inspected / no more ABS/TC faults since that was done 4,000 miles/4 months ago.
New Jaguar Battery 4 Months ago.
New hoses for windshield washer fluid / nipple by windshield replaced / 4 months ago
I installed a 1" hitch so we could mount a bicycle rack. very handy and discreet with chrome blank when not used. never towed anything with it just transported two road bikes.

Always parked inside heated garage (though we drove it in the rain and it has spent some nights outside since we bough it ;-)

Have all records, books, keys, etc.

The car is in really, really nice condition. You will likely not find a much cleaner 2001 around. We would like to get something around $10k.

Car is in the shop now. probably all fixed up and ready for sale on the weekend. Fly out, enjoy a great Fall Color Drive in CO, and drive it home.
