A few weeks back someone stole the hood ornament off my 05 XJ8 VDP, and I received the replacement in the mail today. The only problem is that the kit didn't come with instructions. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a hood ornament replacing guide, or knows from first hand experience how to replace the ornament.

*Only the jaguar part of the ornament was stolen, the chrome piece is still attached to the hood of my car. Will post pics of it tomorrow.

Is it true that bonnet leapers are chiefly supplied to the North American market only? So I was told awhile back.

I know that Bentleys and Rollses sell better on this side of the Pond when they carry insignia on waistrails, headrests, and whatnot. Gilding lilies imho.
