200 cell catalytic converters, and x-pipe gives a nice sound when accelerating, a little more power, without the drone which occurs if the rear boxes are removed.

So mod away but do keep ALL the stock stuff just in case!

Especially when you put on some serious mileage.
Got my fill, of the sound with my first motorcycle.
Shorty mufflers instead of the stock mufflers.
Went back to the stock mufflers, after a few years.
Enjoy yourself & get it out of your system.
Drone is a huge point that many aftermarket setup's do zero testing/design work. Exhaust is all about pressure wave tuning to get the exact flow/sound one is looking for. Some mufflers are better then others and will help reduce the drone while many setups will require a simple J pipe. See: https://hondatheotherside.com/what-is-a-j-pipe-exhaust/

This is the exact same thing on the intake side. You can see the stock intake tubes with the J pipe coming off of them. Manufactures spend a lot of time/effort/money to get the sounds right.

I hope to have a solution for full length headers + exhaust this summer.
