I want to buy myself a good code scanner and as many pointed out that Icarsoft is one of the best options.
I dont have garage and I dont repair car myself. Just want to know whats up if some codes appear. Then going to service anyway.
So question is which model should i buy? LR2 or LR3?
And does it need annual updates or something extra costly later?

I have an iCarsoft i930 (specific to Jaguar, but not a current model anymore) and an iCarsoft Max BT (multibrand), so I cannot tell you which one of the models you mention is the better one.

One reason for me to choose iCarsoft is that all updates are for free. All in all I am quite satisfied with both.

Some years back, I purchased: Code Reader: iCarsoft LR V3.0 for LandRover/Jaguar

No complaints. It has been helpful (e.g., Was able to tell me which O2 sensor on which bank was defective.)
