I purchased a replacement B pillar for my car off eBay, advertised as being LHJ Dove Gray (which is what is in my 2006 XJ-L). The part I received is several shades darker gray, both the fabric and the seatbelt adjuster plastic.

Anyone know if there is a different color interior that's slightly darker than the dove gray? I thought there was only the dove, granite, and champagne. The part I got is not granite or champagne. Is it possible this was an special color for a Vanden Plas or XJR? I doubt the dye batch would have changed this much from 2004 to 2006, otherwise Jag couldn't sell replacement panels.

Is this new piece Champagne or Sand? Definitely not Dove.

 

I don't know if Lincoln was using some of the same interior colors but our LS interior is dove grey and it's a deep blue grey color for accent pieces. My VDP is really light in comparison, but I think it's called ivory.
