Default Intermittent SRS light / B2295 (29)

This translates to a driver side impact - open circuit fault. Would this be directed to the airbag in the door or the airbag inside the seat (if any)?

Just guessing but what about the steering wheel connections to that airbag.

People have had problems with the clock spring connections and there appear to be two pairs of ignitor connections via the clock spring for what I assume is the steering wheel airbag.

I thought the side impact woulld be related to the door or seat? Not the steering wheel...It is intermittent, one day it turns on other it does not. Could it be the calibration on the seat?

Have you grabbed the JTIS from the forum download area (also linked in many threads and found in the FAQ's at the top of subforum areas) it has a specific DTC section that describes each fault. i've attached the 2004 MY, and is pretty common to the xk8-xkrs of similar years, being the side airbag in the driver or passenger seat. In mine (indicated by the 2-2 blink code) it is always the connector under the seat OR the connector just prior to the air bag inside the seat back (found by pulling up/back the seat leather almost to the headrest. Last week, I cleared the intermittent fault by simply unbolting the seat rails, tilting it back, and unplugging/replugging the specific harness connector together several times. Light off ever since.

To find out which connector is yours, you'll need the electrical schematic for your car, the 2004 MY is linked here. Get the JTIS, its a lifesaver, and its free...just download and install. Link added here -> http://www.mediafire.com/myfiles.php#3297awvo3atgw
