Default Jaguar Wald Black Bison

Ladies and Gents,

I know many of us look at the Wald conversion with lustful eyes - probably as many as look at it and think it hideous! I looked into doing the conversion somewhile ago (before I did the x358 upgrade) and decided that whilst I like it, the price for the full setup was just too much! I asked at the time if individual parts could be dropped\ordered separately to which the answer was a firm no.

Well, now it seems there may be an alternative way of getting hold of these kits, but more interestingly you can buy the parts individually. I've just purchased the Wald rear spoiler, but the bumpers\wheels\fenders were all listed.

For some years i've searched for specialist parts on the Yahoo Japan auction website through an intermediary (I use rinkya) that will bid and buy for you, then ship on anywhere in the world. A chance search on the website and bingo.. up they popped.

They list most if not all the Wald black bison kit on there, along with some Arden bits. I've also noted a lot of bumper upgrade listings (from 350 to 358) as well as extended bumper spoilers (bit like JComplete's for both 350 & 358) but obviously I cant comment on the quality. Worth noting that this is the cheapest i've seen these Wald parts listed - anywhere.

Dont tell your Mrs it was me that told you about it - ok

I like the Arden "Noble Cat" body kit for the XJ358 much better than the Wald one's. The Wald one's are hideous // too 1980's squared shape and I don't think flow well with the body lines of the original car.

The Arden one's appear to flow better with the body lines.

Hi..

Try this... but as I said, it's somewhat easier going through an intermediary company like rinkya.

Oh I do like that.... and it confirms what I always thought, if I changed my 2008 grills for one of the old style chrome ones it is so much smoother...

Would love to change out that black grill one of these days....
