Hello everyone!

I recently kicked a six-year smoking habit and have chosen to reward myself with the Jag I've lusted over for awhile (picture attached). She's an 04 XJ8 with 45,000 miles.

I take the keys tomorrow and am very excited! I just thought I'd post in here and introduce myself, because I am certain to start pestering everyone with questions soon, so... apologies in advance.

That car looks a beauty !

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone! I took delivery of the car today, and went for a long drive. The car is perfect, and a beauty inside and out. It is by far the nicest thing I've ever owned, automobile or otherwise. It has GPS and xenons and a sunroof and lots of other nice things, as well as a throaty growl from the exhaust and a snappy response from the throttle. Luxury and sport in spades.

I'm looking forward to the adventures that lie ahead! From the cursory browsing of threads I've done so far, I get the impression that this is an intelligent crowd with a decent sense of humor. I think I'm in the right place.

She do look great, haven't pick mine up yet, sometime week i will get my keys in hand and will post pic.
