Default Leaking Hose at front of Heater Pipes

Hey all. My 05 Super V8 has been stinking up the garage with eau du Pentofrost (coolant). The tank level has correspondingly been slowly dropping so I knew something was up. No puddles so it's a slow drip that only occurs when the car is running. A bit of head scratching and snooping around and I found that the lower of the two fittings that connects to the aluminum run of heater pipes on the right side of the engine bay is leaking at the plastic clip on fitting. This is at the front of the engine not at the fire wall. I think the upper hose in the picture is C2C19596 but for the life of me I can't find the lower hose on the part schematics. It runs from the front termination of the lower heater pipe and clamps to a split off from the aluminum plenum below where the upper radiator hose attaches to. Also is it possible to just replace the o-rings inside the plastic clip on fittings instead of the entire hose?

Thanks
Jeff C

I think the o ring is on the aluminium pipe but I am not 100% sure now. I would just replace the o ring unless you can see any potential hose dameage.

Default Just to clarify they are called "heater hose connections"

Please see attached photo clarifying which hoses I'm trying to source. They are indicated as Item 4 in the illustration. Thanks

Follow the link to the jaguar classic parts site, its a genuie Jaguar site i've used a fair bit but I am in the UK. You wil then be able to search the site and find the part numbers for the hose you need or do what I did and find as many NOS items as you can on ebay for much less.

Thanks for the replies. SNG Barratt was extremely helpful in sorting this out for me. Thanks to them, I know that the two heater supply hoses I indicated are P/N C2C1984 and C2C19596 and they are on the way. These are shown in the parts breakdown completely disoriented from the way they sit in the car. They also have obscure names such as "Tube-Plenum" (eye roll). Hopefully they come out and go in without too much drama and I can get back to driving my old Jag every day!

BTW, I'm pretty sure it's just the o-rings that have failed but they do not sell them separately. It was less than $80 for the 2 hose assemblies so whatever... If the o-rings are a standard size I will post it to the forum.

Jeff
