Bought two led reversing bulbs for my 2007 xj8. got them on the cheap from China so that might be the problem however when I put one in it works ok, but when I put the other in , one led stays on all the time on both bubls,, each bulb has a number of led's. just wondering if anyone has any ideas,,

It's probably something to do with the way the system detects failed bulbs. Were the bulbs advertised as okay for CANBUS ?

 

they are advertised on e bay as being ok for canbus,,,,

 

You'll need to wire in a resistor. Superbrightleds.com can help you out. I got my bulbs and the resisters from them. They recommended the correct type and told me how to install them.
