Default Looking for someone with diagnostics for X350

Hi everyone
I live in west London, have a 2003 x350 and it will not start 🥲
keys/barrell are all good. Fuel pump primes. Battery good, alternator good, gear selector good but it will not turn over so I need to find someone with a Jaguar diagnostic tool to figure out my next step.
Anyone on here have any suggestions please as I am lost

Hello Roast,

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums. It's great to have you with us.

When you say "it will not turn over," do you mean the starter will not rotate the engine, or do you mean the starter rotates the engine but it will not start?

One thing to be aware of is that a battery can measure "good," but if it has lost some of its current capacity and the voltage sags below 10.5 volts while the starter is turning, the Engine Control Module (ECM) will not trigger the ignition to fire.

As far as diagnostics go, any shop that services European luxury performance vehicles should have a scan tool, such as an Autel or Launch, that can read all of your Jag's diagnostic trouble codes. A Jaguar dealer-level system is not mandatory, just a higher-end scan tool.

Have you had the battery conductance tested with a good analyzer?

Cheers,

Don

Hi Don

all that happens engineer wise is the primer can be heard, the injectors can be heard but absolutely no effort to start or rotate the engine what so ever. Battery is saying 14 volts.
i have had two different people out to it with diagnostics to test and both have said I need to get a specialist Jaguar diagnostics person(both even asked if I had been flying it as flight mode came up on their machines)
They think it might a module or eco fault that is immobilised it.
fuel pump is out of range(came up with P1235)

So I have no clue where to go next except hope to find someone on here that might work for Jaguar or own one of the diagnostic machines.

There is a small port on the injector rail for testing fuel pressure. I would start there. That code is fuel pump related.
P codes don’t need a special odb2 software.
