our new ride 2006 xj8l been looking at upgrading to new ride wife likes Cadillac's.but to me they look dated started looking at jags and couldn't believe how affordable they were for what you are getting.being a ford guy it was a no brainer. found this one on craigslist pulled a car fax on it and all looked good seems almost all service was done at jaguar.has 178,000 but runs like a dream.
wife loves the car loves the classic styling,the power,the ride quality and the looks she gets when driving.
some girls at her work were kinda bitchy about the car but she told them she didn't get pissy when they paid three and four times as much for there little shitbox cars and minivans.


what ive done since Monday night on car
new belt,maf sensor,air filter,cabin filter,set of tires.and clean interior and engine bay.
tomorrow trans service and replace radiator hoses
all in all very happy with my $4500 car looking forward to many miles ahead.

 

do wish my dad was still alive to go for a ride he is the one that planted the seed 35 years ago with his xke good times tinkering with it and his healeys when I was a kid.

 

The car looks great for 178,000 miles and I love the wheels!

Bought my 2004 Vanden Plas for 5500 from a dealer about a week ago. It's loaded out. I drove it the on a nice long trip and am enjoying myself. I waited a long time to get one. Well worth it.

In between I've switch to a couple of Mercedes, Aston Martin, porsche even a stupid Lamborghini. and finally came back to my senses. I found this 09 xj8l in Hollywood and fell in love all over again. But it's the feeling I get when driving one. I've customized many high end vehicles and owned a few and I must say none of those vehicles give me the satisfaction. These are the most classy vehicles build on the road. Yes I'm a car guy and it was really easy to let go of those vehicles. I ain't NEVER leaving my cat she's not going anywhere
