Hi guys! My problem is that my navigation system cannot find my location. It seems to think I'm in Washington (I'm in Orlando). I've changed the locations back and forth in the menu from us10 to see if that would make a difference with no luck. Any of you had a similar problem? Thanks guys!

Try recalibration...if its not in the navmenu screens, press and hold the phone and menu buttons until a keypad appears. Type in 1971 and ENTER, find the calibration options and follow the instructions. Good luck!

When you drive does your relative location change or does the GPS show you as stationary? If it does not show you moving it could be the GPS receiver itself, or a complete software crash.

You could also try to make sure all cables (especially the antenna) are connected to the NAV. To get it out, you need only remove that big floor piece, and the carpeting on that side. Its much easier if you take off the rear trim piece that hides the trunk latch. Then four bolts later, the entire rack can be pulled forward and tipped down to inspect all the cables.

Showing the map, yet the location is off, doesn't sound like a software problem. If you can't find your antenna IN the car, you could always use another GPS antenna, hook it up and leave it in the boot, and see if the system 'finds' you on the earth correctly.

If you're arrow moves on the map, you can manually select your position within those calibration screen options. I did it one time to move me onto the road instead of off to the side once.

It does move, but it thinks I'm somewhere in Washington.

That definitely sounds like a calibration issue then if it is moving.

Well on mine there is a calibration facility on the dash screen. You have to select this, and then double press on the touch screen, then move the map display using the "circle" until it's over the flashing arrow of the car. Sorry cannot be more specific, because car is in the shop today, with the Owner Manual in it ! I have used it, but it was not far out so didn't have to move the map far. I suppose you first use the zoom-out view to get approximately there then zoom in for the fine setting.
